SUSTAINABLE SCHOOLS PROGRAM
Annandale Public School has been recognised by the Department of Environment and Conservation for implementation of the Sustainable Schools Program since 2003. We are proud to be able to continue being a part of this worthwhile programme.
The programme recognises that environmental education is the responsibility
of the whole school community. The programme works towards empowering individuals
to maintain and restore the Earth’s natural systems and foster
support for the wellbeing of future generations by promoting sustainable
lifestyles.
The students at Annandale Public School are actively involved in managing
and understanding the importance of caring for and enhancing the whole
school environment.
