Reporting

Our new student reports were introduced to Annandale PS in 2007.
The same reporting format will be issued to families in Semester 1, 2008.

These reports enable parents and carers to clearly see:

Their child’s overall achievement - rated in five bands from ‘Outstanding’ to ‘Limited’ ‘Sound’ is the satisfactory achievement level for students.
More detail on how they are performing in
English and Mathematics
A simpler written report identifying the student’s strengths and areas for improvement
Information about the student’s social skills, achievement in Key Learning Areas and commitment to learning.

These new reports will make it easier to track the progress of students throughout their school life, and provide consistency in reporting across NSW DET schools.

A parent and community ‘information’ session about the school’s reports will be scheduled for mid June before the end of semester 1. The information session will be led by the school principal.
